Austin names newest parks and recreation director

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Jesús Aguirre has been appointed as the new director of the Austin Parks and Recreation Department, as announced by Austin City Manager T.C. Broadnax on Monday.

With over 25 years of experience in parks and recreation, public education, and leadership roles, Aguirre brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position.
